How we got here

Built from both sides of the deal.

We've worked with creators and we've run campaigns for brands. Both sides wanted the same thing — a simple, trusted way to work together and get paid. Aktivate is that place.

2. The problem

   Great creators, no paying work.

   Creators with loyal audiences couldn't find brand deals, and brands couldn't find, manage or measure the creators their customers actually trust.

3. Launch

   Aktivate goes live in Nigeria and Kenya.

   A marketplace where brands post campaigns and verified nano and micro creators apply.

4. Going regional

   Ghana and South Africa join.

   Four markets, one creator network, and payouts that work locally.

5. We listened

   Subscriptions out, pay-per-campaign in.

   Businesses told us they'd rather pay for what they use. So we changed how we charge.

6. Mid-2026

   ShopLink launches.

   Creators get storefronts that pay commission on every sale, starting with Sochitel and Paxo Beauty.

7. Sept 2026

   Access Bank partnership.

   Creator marketing opens up to thousands of SMEs at a discounted rate.

8. For agencies

   Aktivate Reports.

   Agencies paste campaign links and get client-ready reports in minutes.

9. Today

   51,400+ creators. $3M+ paid out.

   Campaigns and shop sales now live together in one Creator Hub — and we're just getting started.
